What are your policies?

How am I charged?
We accept credit cards and cash. A 50% deposit is due when you make the reservation. You have up to twenty four hours after that to cancel if you need to. After twenty four hours the deposit becomes non-refundable. The balance of the reservation will be charged fourteen days before the event. Once the balance is paid the entire reservation amount is non-refundable. You can however, reschedule the time within six months of the event date. If you cancel before we have charged you for the full amount, you can also reschedule within six months and use the deposit you paid for time with any of our vehicles.

Note that cash payments require special pre-payment arrangements. When making your reservation, please ask for the details if paying by cash.

Do I have to pay for the time it takes you to get to my pick up location?
Charges begin when we pick up the first member of your party and end when we drop off the last member of your party. We have a travel surcharge (50% of the limo's hourly rate) for distances more than 10 miles from Memphis.

Are there any other fees?
Because limousines are a service, there is no sales tax on limousine charters.

How much do I tip the driver?
A typical gratuity is 15%. Like Waiters and Waitresses, most of our Driver compensation comes from gratuities. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

How do I cancel a reservation?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is made at the time of booking. You can cancel and obtain a deposit refund if you cancel only within twenty-four hours after you make your reservation. Your balance is charged fourteen days before your event. No refunds are made for cancellations within fourteen days. You are allowed to reschedule within six months of the charter for the full amount you have paid regardless of cancellation time.

Why no refunds?
Since many people book weeks in advance of an event, we turn away others who may be seeking your same date. It is rare that folks reserve within fourteen days of their event, so it would be hard for us to resell your time slot. Also, many of or drivers are part time and have arranged their schedules for your charter.

How do I make a reservation?

Can we do anything we want in the vehicle?
The most basic of all rules is please be respectful to Blue FoxLimos property. All passengers must agree to conduct themselves in an orderly and well-behaved manner. Blue Fox Limos reserves the right to expel any person from our vehicles and/or terminate the contract in the event of a violation of any of any of the following conditions by any passenger.

  1. Lewd behavior
  2. Harassment of any type at any given time toward the driver or anyone else.
  3. Please don't yell out the windows.
  4. Possession or consumption of alcohol by minors.
  5. Fighting
  6. Attacks on our drivers. Attacks will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and the person chartering will be responsible for medical bills.
The driver will stop and drop all guests immediately if there is a violation of these rules, and no refunds will be given! You will be required to obtain your own transportation back home. We want you to have fun, but we also must operate our business with high levels of integrity. It is our sincerest hope that none of the above situations will occur during your ride, but they are mentioned here because they have occurred with others.

So a driver can cancel our ride?
Terminating a ride is our last resort. We offer every opportunity for guests to correct the offending condition. However, like the pilot of an airplane or the captain of a ship, the driver is the final authority in the limousine. Of course we want you to have fun, but please remember, you are in our limos for a short time, but our name is on there all the time. Blue Fox limos are noticed wherever they go and are far from anonymous.

Can we consume adult beverages in the vehicles?
Consumption of alcohol is permitted by persons of legal drinking age. Passengers are expected to act safe and obey all laws - including no drugs or illegal substances. Alcohol consumption by minors (under 21) is absolutely prohibited by law.

Can we smoke?
Smoking and for that matter all tobacco use is not permitted in any of our vehicles.

How many can go in the vehicles?
For your safety and comfort (not to mention the law), we will not transport more persons than the maximum legal allowance.

Can we bring our own music and DVDs?
While we are happy to let you bring CD's, DVD's, and other personal items along for your ride, we do not take any responsibility for items that are left in the vehicle during or after the completion of your Limousine rental period. We do provide background music, but please do not take souvenirs from the Limos. You will be charged for missing or damaged items.
